I've read everyones post here and see both sides. There are some good ideas as well.
In order for the "when admin is online allow cashouts" to be effective, there should be some schedule posted as to when admin will actually be online, else the whole method {appears} to be a bit scammish (I say "appears", Not in any way saying it is!!)
As for the "requesting cashout" the old way, I do see the drawbacks there too.
I have not seen the admin "online" or the cashout option "activated" once since the change. Granted I'm online usually the same time every day (I have a schedule, unfortunately)
The downside to this method is that people have lives outside the ptc world (maybe not the admins :-) and cannot be checking on the computer every so often.
Would it be possible to implement both methods? Allow for requesting cashout via the "old system" and once someone has requested that method, they are locked into that. For people who want to play the "catch the admin online" game, they can elect that method by continuing to attempt to catch the admin online. Should they get tired of that, or become unable for whatever to continue to devote the time required for that cashout method, they can request via "old" method.
This way there is no ONE method, people are free to choose their cashout method.
I'm just thinking out loud, and you did solicit opinions.
Barring this, I think the old way is superior. At least you have an idea of when payout will occur. Waiting to catch the payout window open is more of a lottery.
I just bought two referral packs, and was thinking about upgrading to premium. I am a bit skittish now after reading some of the more recent posts on this forum. I am going to take a wait and see attitude on the premium upgrade to see which way this issue goes.
